Cancer Support Angels Helps Over 1000 Patients and Families a year

Despite starting with only three volunteers in 2019, Cancer Support Angels has expanded to help over 3000 cancer patients and their families in less than 1000 days of trading, growing rapidly to over 70 volunteers across Australia.

Cancer Support Angels, a nonprofit organization, has come a long way since its inception in December 2019. The organization was founded with the aim of providing emotional and practical support to cancer patients and their families. Despite starting with only three volunteers, the organization has managed to grow rapidly over the last few years.

However, the COVID-19 pandemic proved to be a major obstacle for Cancer Support Angels. The organization struggled to cope with the challenges posed by the pandemic, but they were determined to persevere. With the help of their dedicated volunteers, they continued to offer their services to cancer patients and their families.

Despite the challenges, Cancer Support Angels managed to grow their volunteer base to over 70 remote volunteers across Australia. These volunteers work tirelessly to provide practical assistance and emotional support to cancer patients and their families.

In December 2022, Cancer Support Angels achieved a major milestone. With less than 1000 days of trading, they had assisted over 3000 patients and families. This is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the organization’s volunteers, who have selflessly given their time and energy to help those in need.

As Cancer Support Angels looks towards the future, they remain committed to their mission of providing support to cancer patients and their families. They are always looking for new volunteers to join their team and help make a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer.
